This set brings together four vegan organic dark chocolates from fairafric, each an 80g bar: 70% Dark, 70% Dark with Cocoa Nibs, 80% Dark, and 92% Dark. The selection ranges from classically balanced to significantly more intense, making the differences between various cocoa percentages particularly clear.
The 70% bar is the most balanced variety in the set and represents classic dark chocolate with a pleasant balance. The 70% variant with cocoa nibs offers more bite and a slightly rougher texture due to 4% cocoa nibs. The 80% bar tastes more robust, bitter, and distinctly more cocoa-focused. The 92% chocolate is the most intense variety in the set – with a particularly high cocoa content and a sugar content of only 9.2%.
It is precisely this combination that makes the set particularly interesting: the differences between the varieties are perceptible not only through the cocoa content but also through texture, sweetness, and intensity. This makes the set ideal for comparing, tasting, and conscious enjoyment.
Typical for fairafric is the reduced ingredient approach. The three pure dark chocolate varieties consist of cocoa mass, raw cane sugar, and cocoa butter. The variety with cocoa nibs is also made with 4% cocoa nibs. All bars are free from additional flavorings and lecithin. Two varieties from this set – 70% with Cocoa Nibs and 80% Dark – were also awarded the Great Taste Award 2022.
fairafric's production approach is also special: the chocolate is completely produced and packaged in Ghana – from cocoa to the finished bar. Production takes place in the solar-powered factory in Suhum, Ghana. fairafric is organic-certified, audited by the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), and relies on traceable cocoa beans as well as the highest cocoa premiums for farmers. Thus, this set combines four different dark chocolates with a production where value creation remains entirely in the cocoa's country of origin.
