All seven honeys come from a single family business: Apícola Cuartero in Fuendejalón at the foot of the Moncayo (Aragón). What Juan Cruz started in 1981 as a small apiary is now run by the third generation – the honeys carry his name: Miel del Tío Juan Cruz.
Around 3,000 bee colonies migrate each year, following old tradition, into Spain's flowering regions, from mountain heathlands to the orange groves of the Levante. No pesticides around the hives. Bottled by single variety, never blended with outside stock. Every vintage therefore tastes different – weather and blossom season shape each harvest individually.
Varieties included:
- Creamy heather honey – Spain's mountain heathlands
- Robust mountain blossom honey – mountain forests
- Garrigue wild herb honey – Mediterranean scrubland
- Fragrant lavender honey – Castilian meseta
- Mediterranean orange blossom honey – Levante citrus groves
- Fragrant lemon blossom honey – Mediterranean coast
- Blossom honey from Spanish summer meadows – Ebro valley
