Optimal storage
To keep macadamia nuts fresh for as long as possible, they should ideally be stored in the refrigerator after opening.
Unsalted and natural macadamia nuts
These macadamia nuts impress with their delicate, buttery, fresh flavor. Untreated and natural, they offer pure, unadulterated nutty enjoyment. The kernels are neither roasted nor salted.
Raw food quality for the highest demands
The macadamia nuts are gently dried at temperatures below 45°C to optimally preserve their valuable nutrients. This guarantees true raw food quality. Hand-picked and of uncompromising premium quality, they are ideal as a mindful snack or for versatile recipes such as ice cream, nut butter, and vegan cakes.
The origin of organic macadamia
The organic macadamia nuts come from prime growing regions in South Africa. The climate near the Indian Ocean offers ideal growing conditions. Drying takes place directly on-site at the producer's location, guaranteeing absolute freshness and short transport routes. Every processing step is carried out with the utmost care.
Harvest-fresh processing for top quality
As soon as most of the macadamia nuts are ripe, they are carefully harvested. The shells are removed the same day, and the nuts are dried for the first time at a maximum temperature of 35°C for up to five days. This immediate processing ensures their exceptionally fresh taste. The hard shell is removed directly on the farm. Thanks to the slow drying process at low temperatures, the nuts have a very low residual moisture content, making them exceptionally long-lasting, fresh, and crisp.
Valuable nutrients and minerals
Macadamia nuts are a good source of fiber and unsaturated fatty acids. They also contain important minerals:
-
Manganese: Contributes to normal energy metabolism, the maintenance of normal bones and connective tissue, and protects cells from oxidative stress.
-
Phosphorus: Supports energy metabolism and the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
-
Magnesium: Promotes the normal function of the nervous system and muscles.
-
Copper: Complements the mineral profile of this high-quality nut.
Unsaturated fatty acids and B vitamins
The crunchy kernels are particularly prized for their high content of unsaturated fatty acids. The nuts also boast a good supply of B vitamins. This makes the "queen of nuts"—natural, unsalted, and certified organic—a valuable addition to any daily diet.
