Right of withdrawal

A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, or in the case of partial deliveries: from the day on which you have taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, or in the case of contracts for several goods: from the day on which you have taken possession of the last item.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by sending us a clear statement via email.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the deadline expires.

Consequences of the revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than our cheapest standard delivery option), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive your cancellation notice.

For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

Returns to other addresses may delay processing; this does not affect your right to withdraw from this contract.

Return shipping costs

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

For goods that cannot be returned by normal mail due to their nature (freight forwarding goods, e.g. very heavy bulk containers), we will inform you of the exact amounts in advance upon request or as part of the collection arrangement.

replacement value

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing their condition, properties and functionality.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would be quickly exceeded (e.g. refrigerated/fresh goods), for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery, for the supply of goods which have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery, or for the supply of custom-made products according to customer specifications.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of conclusion of the contract, are not citizens of a Member State of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.

General information

Please avoid damage and contamination and return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories, if possible. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. Do not return goods freight collect.

Food: For hygiene reasons, opened or unsealed food products are generally non-returnable, unless there is a defect. Please observe storage/refrigeration instructions.
